Medical Rehabilitation for People with Brain Injuries  




NOWCAP Services’ medical rehabilitation services are provided in a 24 hour structured environment. NOWCAP Services’ rehabilitation program is designed for participants who require a continuous care setting in order to resume their highest level of independence.

In addition to cognitive and communicative concerns, the program focuses on areas such as physical functioning, daily living activities, community integration and behavioral management.

NOWCAP Services’ brain injury program encompasses more than traumatic brain injury alone. 
The program also serves individuals with brain damage resulting from the following:
  • Work-related injury
  • Anoxia / Hypoxia due to drowning, heart attack, drug overdose, alcohol poisoning, anesthesia errors, etc.
  • Stroke
  • Electric shock / lightening strike
  • Degenerative diseases
  • Infectious diseases
  • Early stage moderate dementias

  • Brain Surgeries
  • Many neurological disorders
