NOW CAP Services Wyoming Developmental Disabilities

NOWCAP Services provides vocational training and assists people in obtaining employment within the community. Participants learn such things as how to interact appropriately with co-workers and supervisors, money management and the importance of punctuality, attendance and appearance. As the individual progresses they work on résumé building and interview skills in preparation for placement.

After the initial training is completed, NOWCAP Services assists the participant with securing a job and provides on-going support to ensure the placement is maintained. The goal is to assure participants’ dreams and desires are met and that each person experiences a life of purpose. Individuals have been placed in jobs at retail stores, restaurants, pre-schools, senior centers and business offices among others. Once placed, each individual receives on-site job coaching by NOWCAP Services staff if necessary. Once the participant is well established in their position, NOWCAP Services staff provides ongoing support to employee and employer alike.
