their careers with NOWCAP Services… NOWCAP Services’ on-line application.

“I began my career with NOWCAP Services in 2000, and have never looked back. The training I receive from NOWCAP Services helps me provide excellent care to the participants I work with. It helps me perform and be the best that I can be. I think of my career as a ministry, not just a job. I believe our participants require more than just having their physical & mental disabilities cared for, but they need honor & respect, too. It’s all about having a caring heart towards each of them.”

-Richard Pulanco, Direct Care Professional
2007 Employee of the Year

“My first day as a NOWCAP employee was May 13th, 1976 and it's been and is a truly beautiful ride! I feel so fortunate for the wonderful life time of learning experiences and friendships that I have been blessed with. With NOWCAP I was involved in the Weatherization, LIEAP, Section 8 Housing and Job Corp programs.

When the NOWCAP Services program was implemented in the Worland area in 2003, I was excited to receive an invitation to join them. I can remember visiting the NOWCAP Services program in Casper, before Mr. Chris Boston became the Executive Director with CEO, Mr. Joe Stolns and thinking to myself, ‘This is a really neat program, if I lived here I would like to work here.’ Who would have ever guessed I’d have the opportunity in my own hometown? I do feel blessed and rewarded every day.”

-Linda Buhler, Direct Care Professional
“I have been a Case Manager for NOWCAP Services since 2005. I learn something new about my job everyday! As a Case Manager, you have to be very flexible and organized. Part of my job is to monitor the Plan of Care for each participant on my case load and to ensure the plan is being implemented correctly. I do monthly home visits and service observations. I also have daily contact with the participants. This is by far the best part of the job! I am inspired everyday by the participants here at NOWCAP. My job as a Case Manager can be described as busy, varying, and most of all rewarding!”

-Sara Garland, Case Manager
“I have worked for NOWCAP Services for many years. I began my career as a Direct Care Professional in 1994.   I walked in the door unsure if this was the right job for me. Now as the Nursing Coordinator, I am definitely glad I decided to stick around. Having been a nurse now since 2000, the participants at NOWCAP Services have always held a place in my heart. No matter where I have gone it always feels like where I should be.”

-Jamie Kidder RN, CDDN, NOWCAP Services Nursing Coordinator
